Situated adjacent to four mile creek the Okaine residence is a superb example of site awareness and ecological sensitivity. The client was committed to maximizing the use of a challenging lot shape and condition. One of a few multi story straw bales houses built, it meets the clients desire to have light site impact by minimizing the building foot print on the site and carbon foot print by using locally available materials.
